Career Information and Guidance Center
The objective of Career Information and Guidance Centre is to provide information and guidance to adolescent and youth – especially those enrolled in grade 8 to 12 – about opportunities in education and professions to enable them to succeed in practical life.
It is essential to learn and practice professional skills and trade of one’s own choice – and also acquire necessary life skills – for the well-being and prosperity of an individual and his/her family. This is, indeed, crucial for the progress and development of a country.
The selection of appropriate educational programme at every stage of schooling is important for a successful professional life and creates useful human resources.
Scope
· Students of grade 8 to 12, who do not have access to information about career development in Urdu.
· Children and parents from marginalized communities and low-income families, who cannot obtain career guidance from professional counselors because of resource constraints.
· Students, parents and teachers of government schools, religious seminaries, and private schools in low-income areas who do not have access to career guidance.
